Government Polytechnic Garhi Shyampur, Rishikesh is a state government college established in the year 2009 with an aim to improve academic standards of Diploma Programmes in Engineering Science & Technology. The College is approved by the All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to Uttarakhand State Board of Technical Education

The college campus is located 3km away from Rishikesh-Haridwar highway towards Khadri Khadakmaaf village.
